I popped in to get a pastry for my husband and myself and what we got was delicious! We got a Rum Baba and a Pistachio Baba, as well as a loaf of Sourdough bread. Everything we bought was really yummy, and I look forward to coming back and trying some progress!

Finally, Langley has its own Kozak restaurant – long awaited and absolutely worth it! They’ve brought here everything they are famous for: delicious food, warm service, and an unbelievable atmosphere. Whether you come for breakfast, lunch, or dinner – on your own or with friends – this place is a must-visit.

We really enjoyed coming here. Saw it online somewhere and decided to give it a shot. I've seen a few people complaining about the cost vs portion size prior to posting this so let's deal with that. I had the same reaction when the plate hit the table, but I can assure you its a non issue. Everything here is made by hand, not that mass produced crap you get everywhere else. I've made perogies by hand myself and can understand the time involved. Although on the expensive side for the portion size, it makes perfect sense and you will not leave hungry. The plate looked small but we did not leave hungry. Everything we had was delicious and worth what i paid. Service was excellent and staff very friendly. Lots of options that I want to try and we will definitely be back. Its worth the stop and I recommend stopping in, even if it seems pricy, you won't be disappointed

The borscht and cabbage rolls were amazing! Had a great time with my mom music was cute. One note would be to make the atmosphere more cozy with candles like the downtown location for evening service. I will be back much love your Polish cousin

So glad Kozak Ukrainian Restaurant opened up a location in Walnut Grove, Langley. The borsch was incredible while the pirogies were delightful. Cant wait to return and try the pastries next time.

I drive past here all the time and always saw that it seemed to have people inside so I got curious and finally stopped by. It is equal parts bakery/grab-and-go/takeout/sit down restaurant. I picked up perogies, cabbage rolls, and a number of baked items. The perogies were , a nice chew and perfect size without feeling heavy. The cabbage rolls tasted very dark; I’m used to brighter, more tomatoey / passata-based recipes. But this could simply be a function of never having had "authentic" cabbage rolls so YMMV. The babka was great, but I found the rum baba quite dry. I do want to try the herring plate next time as I love me a good fish+bread combo. They also sell their own smoked pork belly which sounds intriguing. Interior is bright and warm, servers were friendly.
